ATM I'm hoping the IBprofin (or however it's spelled) kicks in and makes my swollen throat go down soon so I can eat supper, I'm getting pretty hungry.

ATM I'm thinking I can't do this anymore. I'm thinking of not opening on Tuesdays anymore and just putting a sign up that says "Sale Pending". $35 in sales for 8 hours, not to mention the 8 customers that were incredibly rude and one guy telling me to go to hell.
I'm not sure I can do this again.

Re: At the Moment
WHy on earth did the guy tell you to go to hell?! Also, I will kick his ass this weekend mmmkay?
Re: At the Moment
He got angry at me because he thought I was lying to him. He asked me if the new guy had taken over yet, I said no. He asked what the new guy would be selling and listed a bunch of items and I told him I had no idea what all the new guy was going to carry, and then he asked when the new guy would be taking over and I told him we didn't know for sure yet. He got all pissed off, told me to go to hell and stormed out of the building.
I'm just tired of it, I'm not sure how to close without closing the business. I need to talk to the bank and see what I can and can not do. I just know I can't do that for 8 hours again.

Damn! And to think I missed my chance to buy the place!
Re: At the Moment
You haven't missed it yet, contract isn't finalized, you could swoop in and take over if you'd like!!

Re: At the Moment
Can I get one of those 'no documemnts need to be signed' loans that you mentioned in the other thread?
Re: At the Moment

I know right? Seems the director used this deal to convince a company to relocate to Napoleon from Indiana. He even hand delivered the checks, and then they changed their minds and investigators started showing up and coming out of the woodwork. Needless to say by the time this is over, someone is going to jail. 300k of money hand delivered with no paperwork, why couldn't all of us get that kind of loan?

Yeah, he made his way all the way over here and now we have a town named in his honor........I always thought it was crazy, but then again the town to the west is called "Defiance", the town west of that is called "Hicksville" so yeah, naming towns around here is just a riot.

Yeah, Bethany's right, it's a bit of a drive from 75, not awful, but lots of farmland between here and there so it's kind of boring.

Re: At the Moment
ATM I feel as if this deal is never going to end.
I got socked for a $500 repair on a cooler that now isn't working. He wants me to pay for a new one and I told him it worked just fine when I used it and it wasn't until his repair guy messed with it that it started acting like this.
Now I have to call my lawyer on Monday and see if I'm responsible for it or what, if I'm responsible I have no idea where I'm going to get the money for this, selling this place is going to end up costing me a fortune, a fortune I don't have.
I told him I was going to call my repair guy in the morning and see if he'll look at it and the buyer said he wasn't comfortable with that. I told him I wasn't comfortable getting shafted by his repair guy and since I still own all the equipment, the building and business I still call the shots. I don't think his repair guy understands any of the coolers in here and is just trying to make a buck.
I'm going to scream. Or maybe I'll just pack up and move in the middle of the night.

Re: At the Moment
Good for you for standing up to him Pete. He's under a management contract but he hasn't bought the business yet. If he insists on pushing forward with his repair man then he should be responsible for repair costs past the $500.

Option 3: Scream - THEN pack up and move in the middle of the night
