What'd you do for your birthday, Ang? Was it a good day?

well, I went to work, and one of the kids in my Monday afternoon group, her mom was an hour late picking her up....and I had a roast in the oven to take to a family in our church who is in need of meals this week....and I had to get home to get that out and get the lasagna in to take to my mom's house, and make brownies....so it was hectic, but after I got the food delivered and stuff together at my moms, it was a nice dinner, despite the fact that the lasagna was smoked, because the roast cooked over and caused my house to be full of smoke!

I have to admit I was ready for bed by about 8. because Ethan got up at 4:30 and made Nate and I breakfast in bed...which he served at 5 AM.....it was very nice, and I won't tell Ethan how much I hate waking up in the morning. I really couldn't believe how very thoughtful he was, it was so nice! The only problem with kids cooking is that they don't clean up unless prompted, so there is still stuff everywhere, as I went straight to sleep when we got home last night....I'll get it later today!

I made it through another year, and hopefully learned a couple of things, and perhaps this year I will learn even more.
