The local paper stopped printing "For Better or Worse" when one of the characters came out of the closet.

I'm amazed it's the first I've heard of it. Maybe there aren't too many Archie fans around here.

I'm not surprised things get objected to, if that's what you mean. And to be honest, I'd keep my kids from reading such material if I felt it was justifying being gay as just another way to live.

I loved that comic when I was a kid.

Archie has been hanging out with Veronica for decades now and still hasn't gotten into her pants. Maybe he's gay too- or maybe Veronica is gay.
