No, just the drawing. I think I might get it matted and framed though. Kind of as a memory of my grandpa.

Well, I was actually drawing what I remember from a window I saw. I didn't design it necessarily.

yes, I have a few. They help when I do windows because I'm not so good at designing them all myself. I've done some, but I'm not good with anything but abstract.

Wow, that's really cool! I would like to do a second one at some point--a mirror one with a different image. But, I don't know what I would do in the other one. So, a book like that might be helpful. I wonder if my library would have something like that. What kind of books are they?

I never got out of my pajamas today. Which means I never shoveled the 8-10 inches of snow in the driveway. Which means tomorrow morning is going to be fun. Blargh.

just do what I do, go to google and type "stained glass pattern books" and it will open up a whole new world for you.

There aren't that many that have the amount of detail that yours had though. But then again, I only ever scratched the surface of the amount of books out there.

Not only is it Monday, but it is the beginning of a new month! The month in which spring arrives, the month in which my oldest children will turn 15....a little scary!....a very special friend of mine has a birthday today, so all of those things make it a very special Monday!

It is a beautiful day here in MI which is a wonderful blessing for the first day of March!

Work--where I am praying that one of my students will have forgotten that he didn't get anything from his family for his birthday last week and finally start acting like himself again --and then dinner with friends. Should be a good day.

Yeah, I know it is really sad. And he was so excited about it all month. I am torn, because he needs a new backpack and I want to get it for him, but I don't know if that is overstepping a boundary. I knew his mom wouldn't send any treats in for his birthday so I brought in bonuts for him to pass out already. But, that's not something he would take home and show his mom...I don't want to insult her, although I think that is deplorable that you can't get your kid SOMETHING when you have premium cable and an Xbox with games like Resident Evil. Go to the dollar store for goodness sake!

So, anyway, I don't know what to do...

I have a dentist appointment at 9 then working 11-8. I also have to figure out how to find a 10" rough in toilet somewhere along the way too. It's a specialty item because it's not as long but still as tall.

Getting packed up to head out. I still have to get home in time to renew my food license, and it's my mom's birthday so I should stop at their house as well.

All I want to do is relax here, or at least finish some of these jobs I'm leaving undone today.

I'm stopping at Ikea on the way home.

Melissa, is your students family Jehovah's witnesses? They don't do birthdays, that is why I wondered. I could never be a teacher...I would not be able to keep from telling these people what I felt.

The dentist was only ok. A lot of money put in my mouth. So frustrating. Plus I hate cleanings. I would rather have root canals and oral surgery.

Angie you're right, it's just from here it feels like a long off fantasy world. When I'm here (I'm home by the way) the every day living and problems of this place surround me and make Cinci feel as if it's a thousand miles and a thousand years away. But I'll get there, I've waited this long, what's another few months?

You know Pete, I think a great thing to remember is that no matter where you are, you may get that feeling, and you are not alone!

Sometimes I feel like I am a thousand miles and a thousand years from a clean house and peace and sanity and maybe some financial soundness....but then again, maybe it's just around the corner....but no matter what we aren't alone in those feelings....just remember we are here for you!!
