Monday!!!

Have you guys noticed everyday is Monday on the forum?

So much work to do...at work. Who knew?!

Monday, Monday....Piri has diarrhea, which she calls "diary" poor kid. But she, like a true girl, is using it to keep her brother out of the bathroom, the worse he sounds like he needs to go, the longer she tells him she will take! HA

In other news, I have a horrible cold, and halloween candy is my downfall.

So, I made my own laundry detergent this weekend, and i keep looking at my pants and marveling at how clean they are...however, when I was grating the soap, I also grated my knuckle... and it's kind of stinging today.

that is nifty Katy, I am way to lazy for that, and I like the melaleuca stuff, so I will just carry on with that.

Are you loving the car? Did you name it?

What is in your homemade detergent?!

Angie-I'm allergic to mellaleuca or I would just use that too. I named the car Grandpa.

Melissa-its two part grated soap (I used fells naptha, but you can use any kind I guess) and one part each borax and washing soda...and then its 1 tablespoon per load.

I'm allergic to almost every type of detergent I've used, I'm hoping thhis one works out ok.

Where did you even get those ingredients? Aside from the borax, I haven't heard of any of it.

I may or may not be listening to "Baby" by Beiber currently...on repeat...

It's late and I can't sleep. And this song has a good hook.

I got them at the grocery store in the laundry aisle. You can get them online too. Some people say you can replace the laundry soda with baking soda, but most I have read said not to, cause they aren't the same thing

Happy Monday morning. I've survived the weekend and am feeling a bit better about staying in this crazy neighborhood. Hopefully the rest of the time goes smoothly!

My car is finally getting it's new tires today... it only took 5 trips back to the dealership. They are super nice there though, so it's ok.

YAY for new tires. I am pretending there was no time change, so that I have an extra hour in the morning to do housework. It went well today.

Not a lot going on here, Piri has a dr. appt later this afternoon, and other than cleaning no big plans.

So, the radio station i listen to is giving away passes to a special showing of HP on monday and I'm trying to win... yay!

Me too! I took Friday off for the specific reason....I wish we could go together. Of course, you'll be gettingf out of the movie when I'm going in.

well, I finished a book today, now I should clean....but I'm kind of tired.....so, I shall clean in a bit.....

Good morning! Lovely day to sleep in. Here in the sticks we get the first day of buck season off....and since I don't hunt, it was a good rest time. I was thinking about getting the decorations out, and I am going to lunch with my dear friend Erin, who is back from Argentina. So, not sure what else the day will hold.

I am really battling the self esteem thing, but it is the holidays and I think I've given up the weight battle for awhile, but I don't know....I din't want to do the things I do.

It is also my mama's birthday, she is 75 today. So, I am making her some macaroons. And I might go out and get her something, but it is hard to get her gifts, as she always says, "I don't need anything, I already have too much."

Back to work, I have little scheduled this week (except a work Christmas party Friday) so I'm really excited about that!
