Lent or not

My church really doesn't talk much about lent. But I do usually try and participate in it.

So here is my take

Lent is the 40 weekdays before Easter. Sunday isn't included. It's a time for reflection penance and offerings. It's to prepare us for the coming of Jesus

Generally involves fasting something and increased prayer and offerings

It is not required but I prefer it and it helps me reconnect with Jesus.
