Probably fake, but if it is real, I'll argue with you about it being hilarious. It would actually be very sad if anyone thought this way.
Re: Newlywed Advice
Well they state that it is probably false but can't tell for sure enough to say.
I think that it's really sad too, but also a little hilarious. But I revert to a 4th grader whenever the topic of sex comes up.
They also had the good wife guide from a home ec book from the 50s

I used to be friends with someone who still believes this. Whatever church she goes to reminds them often that sex is ONLY for the purpose of reproduction. Sex for pleasure was considered lust and was therefore going against God.

Mark Driscoll did a series of sermons on the Song of Solomon a couple of years back, and it was great. He simply went through the text, and talked frankly about what it meant, bit by bit. It's hard to argue that sex is only for reproduction once you see what God has to say about it.

Well in my personal experience, church's don't always use all the text of the bible, many of them use only bits and pieces to get their points across, and most people won't read into it to find the truth. Every time I tried to talk to her about it she thought I was attacking her religion and wouldn't talk to me. That's eventually what ended our friendship.

Re: Newlywed Advice
I think it's kind of sad when anyone--no matter their intentions--tries to give a couple advice about sex or the other, more intimate parts of their relationship unsolicited. It's one thing if the couple asks, but goodness, come on! I don't want to be told by people uninvolved how to love my mother or best friend, why would I want to be told how to feel about sex with my husband?! Maybe I am just ornery, but it seems like an overstep...
I believe the church's responsibility is to point people toward God. It is God's job to lead those people in how to treat others and act responsibly. I think it's okay for churches to talk about sex in broad terms--especially the ways it can be misused and mistreated--because it is one of the most commonly distorted aspects of our lives and is often used to wound people in an effort to get them AWAY from God. But, I don't feel it is the church's place to dictate the what, the why, the how, etc. of people's relationships in such manners. And I agree, MT, it is sad that these kinds of messages exist. I am sure many women and men have been hurt by these kinds of things, and many relationships have been compromised at their hands.
