The Wonders of Time Zones

Well, actually, as much fun as it is to derail threads, it ends up detering actual conversation. If someone comes to a thread with the intention to post about the topic and they see that conversation isn't on topic, they feel a bit insulting to re-rail it...like it's leaving a message to cut it out...so they don't comment.

Random Banter is the place to do that--just ramble and interact willy-nilly. People understand that these threads ramble and mosey.

It's an effort to keep conversation going, actually.

And only a touch of OCD...
