I like the song. Probably more than any third day song in half a decade. But I don't get the video.

I can watch videos, but they have no sound....so, I'm no help in this thread. I'm leaving now.

The guy is looking back on his life
There's a party (salvation) - he gets an invitation and accepts it

He goes to the party at what appears to be a palatial estate (Vague reference to God's dwelling place - salvation?) and humbly removes his hat as he enters into the estate (salvation - God's dwelling place).

That's my take on it.

It may become clearer under the influence of some mind-altering substances but, "no, no no, no I don't do it no more, I'm tired of waking up on the floor."

Hey, that makes sense. I was thinking some sort of southern revival or some such.
