Tuesday!

I deal with anger too, Bethany...I wish I could get rid of it, and sometimes it hits for no apparent reason.....although I know that there is a reason, I am just not tuned in to it. I think maybe I hide in it, I don't know.

Yeah I definitely hide in it, it makes me feel powerful when I'm feeling particularly powerless and especially when I'm feeling scared or invisible.
But it's hurtful to the people I take it out on and I don't want to do that anymore, but I also can't figure out how to stop...oh therapy

Tuesday, the day I go back to the trainer after a whole summer off YIKES!

I have 13 more sessions until my contract is over and aiaiai I'm so nervous about tonight!

I woke up at 3:30 this morning....so I cleaned the kitchen, made Nate lunch, went jogging, got a shower and WENT BACK TO BED!!! Now I am up, getting ready to start the second time around.

yeah, and then I did about nothing for the rest of the day....Piri and I watched Coraline with our 3D glasses, and went for a walk. Then I didn't do anyting until soccer games tonight.... YAY for lazy days!

I drove through terrible heat, then terrible rain, and through some terrible boredom to come back to my home town to clean out my house and get my car worked on. Turns out the car is going to be more expensive than originally thought and I'm freaking out already about it.

The car runs great when I can afford repairs and the very moment I can't afford anything is when it goes crazy. I'd be better if we were signing the final papers on my place, but sadly we're still not yet to that point. Hopefully in the next two weeks.

Ug, I'm homesick already. It might be because of the lack of stress in Cinci at the moment, or it could be that my roommate is a pretty big deal.

The drama llama was supposed to be discussed today at work in 2 different meetings but it appears our manager isn't coming in. So that should be fun.

Manager came in, meeting one down without anyone being murdered.....next meeting in 51 minutes

Just got a call from the bank stating they wanted to do closing at 3pm. I told him I was scheduled to work at 3pm and this process has been a huge inconvenience to me already since we could have done this before I left. So they changed it to 10am. I can't wait to get this over with.

I got an email last night and he's trying to completely change the agreement again. Um, you already signed it, the lawyer has they copy, sorry, you are too little too late.

Well the agreement was the compressors for the two walk-in coolers would be replaced, well now suddenly the one is o.k., his guy told him the evaporator unit that hangs inside the cooler is not big enough and that's why it's not running right. It's running the same way it did for the last 50 years, so how is this my problem? He also said the other compressor (which is bad) also needs a new evaporator unit because it's too small. Well the agreement was we went with what my repair guy said, and he said they were fine and I was going to pay to replace the two compressors. Now suddenly his guy appears the week of closing and starts telling him all this stuff that should have been brought to my attention 3 months ago, and I've already caught this guy over charging me and lying about his work, so I'm not about to listen to him. I've thrown him out of my building three times already, so his word means nothing to me.

Legally I'm not responsible for what his guy says. I'm only respsonsible for getting the coolers to run like they did when I was open and only have to listen to my own repair guy. So he has no legal leg to stand on and can bite me.

I'm so ready to be done with this, just collect the few dollars I'll be getting to be used to pay off my private loans and walk away and never look back.

Want me to stab him in the eye with a pen? I'll use one of my fountain pens and not a sissy felt tip pen.

Ugh Pete, that's so annoying but I'm so glad you're standing up for yourself!

Katy, I'm on a task force that's trying to implement changes in how our department communicates with another department and the people in my department (w/ the exception of the manager) are so against it and pissy about it.
They think I and the other 2 have turned benedict arnold on them and they are being so dumb ugh.

Ummm... no offense, but it sounds like you work with a bunch of teenagers. I mean, they do realize it's not high school, right?

oh I know, it's also our busy season so we're all stretched very thin and tempers are running short. The worst part is the most senior (chronilogically not management wise) and the team lead are the most against changing and they're being vocal about it which is affecting the others.
But our manager said she can assure us that the team lead will no longer be doing that and they will together keep the others positive.

High school never ends apparently, it just moves to other buildings and new people groups

I'm not encouraging violence by any means, but if that were to happen, wait until the documents are signed and it's all over, then it's not my problem.

Ug how much more productive can I be? Car is getting fixed on Thursday, just set up the appointment. Closing on the business on Friday, sold my washer and dryer my dad is taking care of that tomorrow, called about a different job offering a lot more an hour with full time hours and benies!

I'm exhausted and it all happened from the couch! I also got groceries, provided an education to some troubled kids who needed to learn how to divide, had a good lunch, fixed a faucet, cleaned a bathroom, about to do some light repair work, then baking some cookies, making supper and who knows, maybe some trimmming in there too.

I should have worn some superhero underoos today.

I'm going to need you to make me a drink.

Well, this morning the twins are headed to the high school to learn the ropes with their mentors....wow! It is just crazy that such little babies have now become young men....and only have 4 years of school left.

I am thinking I might take the younger kids to see Ramona and Beezus, since it is at the dollar theatre....other than that, probably just cleaning.
