Oh, the dilemma of eating

So, I will start this new one over here. I was going to start it as Weight Watchers, but since not all of us are doing Weight Watchers, i thought I would name it something else, but it would still give us a way to encourage each other in the area of diets and eating.

I am in need of yet another Recommitment to Weightloss...

They said to admit your slip up (which you obviously know you did cause you just said it). To be positive instead of beating yourself up about it. To get back on track/plan as soon as you can (instead of waiting for tomorrw, start with the next meal)... maybe start back in the begining and give yourself a 101 refresher course, plan & track. Learn from you "mistake"... or look back and see why you are making poor decisions and find out how you can help yourself make better decisions in the future. And to find an anchor... something you can see or touch that will remind you why you are doing this and that you have the strength, determination and confidence inside of yourself to get through it.

They are doing this really cool thing at meetings now where they hand out something called a Weight Watchers weekly pamphlet and it has notes and tips related to the topic of that weeks meetings.

Okay, so here is what I am trying...because of that book I am reading about success, I have decided to use positive affirmations....so I am telling myself that I am feeling great losing weight, and stuff like that. Keeping it positive. I am interested to see how it goes, I am not usually kind to myself with my self talk, and I am trying to change that in every area, and see how it changes things.

The holidays are hard no matter what because I love to bake, but I know that, so I will get through it.

I TOTALLY almost did that yesterday, too! I did Tim Hortons instead--probably just as bad...

I went to my friends house up in the Vancouver area last night, and she usually doesn't plan the best things and I knew we were having pizza so I kind of saved my points all day...and she ended up getting a de-light pizza from papa murpheys... which was a great surprise, but I had a surplus of points left afterwords, so I went to sonic and made not good decisions... i haven't written it all down yet... but I'll have to figure it out today. I'm sure I got into a big chunk of my weekly points.

Usually, I get two of the route 44 diet limeaids and I'm good... i guess I shouldn't go when I'm hungry.

I've only eaten at Sonic once and I'm very happy I live 40 minutes from the nearest one........or they might know me by name.
