Tuesday!

I'm going to be productive today, so I'm only going to check in a few times I think.
But I have a scratchy throat and hope I'm not getting sick

Trainer tonight!

I have an appointment today at 12:45 so I actually have to get up and moving sometime this morning. No fun!

We also have my church's Christmas program this evening. I am excited!

I woke up not feeling so well this morning...stress and hypochondria, I think. I am better now, but I should've been up working, so I am VERY far behind....I don't think I can catch up, so I'll have to prioritize....obviously, you guys are first priority.

I am making cookies, cleaning my house, cleaning the Pataski's house, and hopefully shopping all by the end of the day.

I just realized there is a scroll down bar on the emoticons....wow....

A few weeks ago, they promoted me to IT manager, and gave me, among other things, a company credit card. I am using it today to take my 3 guys to lunch at a local BBQ place.

It probably is. My manager uses hers to buy us lunch when our lunches are suspended. Like team morale or something.

It just feels good to do that for people. I can, of course, take someone to lunch on my own dime, but it would be much less frequent. This way, I can do it once a month or so.

Well, for me it's the food a little. But a lot of it is the convenience of not having to pack or think about what to eat for lunch as well as the money saving aspect of it, not having to spend my own money on food

False fire alarm at work. There is NEVER a real one. EVER.
If there's ever a real fire I'm pretty sure we'll all die at our desks proclaiming it's false and we're not going outside

For me it's the feeling of being appreciated, it hasn't happened in several years though. Does that say more about me or the people I've worked for?

I delivered my second funeral lunch this morning, barely on time because I had such a bad night at work last night I was up so late! But it's done and now I just have to run the store today. I need to clean up the aftermath of two funeral lunches! I also need to get my bedroom cleaned in the next 15 minutes to prepare for the delivery of my new bed!! Of course I had to log in here first.

Hopefully today I'll have some time to add in a few more smilies, I miss some of the old ones and found some cool new ones to add, but this house computer won't allow me to copy graphics like I need to so hopefully I'll get some time to do it on my office computer.



**edit** By the way.....I'm also enjoying a fantastic cup of coffee thanks to someone on the west coast..

Yay for new beds! I probably should get one soon--considering no matter how many times I rotate my mattress, I still get a big ole indentation on my side of the bed! Or maybe I should just find something else to do than sit on my ass!

All the ads on the top of our forum trick me. There was one that said I had a new message and I clicked on it thinking it was a PM and it was totally an ad.
