Obama has Mao Christmas ornament

The Obama White House xmas tree has ornaments featuring a transvestite and a mass murderer (Mao), plus one with Obama's face on Mt Rushmore.

Wow, I would have never thought to look at the individual ornaments on his tree! People are intense!

I should add that I don't blame Obama for this; he probably didn't have a hand in choosing the decorations. But it will make my more hard-core conservative friends go into a tizzy, and that makes me laugh.

Yeah, totally. I personally doubt if there were any churches included in the 'community organizations' they solicited for ornaments...

That or the churches they may have solicited for ornaments may have declined if they were asked because of Obama's political stances.

Possibly, but I was thinking more as a political thing--like, they might not have wanted to include one kind of church and not another, so they just kept them all out.

I love things like this.

Like the president and family have any idea what is being put on their tree. We pay decorators thousands upon thousands of dollars to do all that for them.

It may be a political statement, but it's not Obama's.

And this comes from someone on the conservative side.

I wasn't trying to start anything. I am just saying, that's been a tradition in the White House. She picks a new china pattern and she is in charge of Christmas decorations. That's why, in the news clip, they asked her about the origin of the ornaments.
