What Are You Listening To?

I didn't see this topic started yet... so here we go...

Seabird.

We are still on a huge Tragically Hip kick at our house, World Container is in right now.

Nate did get me the newest Norah Jones for Christmas, but I haven't opened it yet.

I'm addicted to both Glee soundtracks...Volume 1 and 2. Love the show and love the music! Right now my computer is set to shuffle all the music it has and it keeps going from Glee to Star Trek soundtrack to Disneyland park music to Daughtry to Switchfoot. It's a very strange arrangement, but it works!

I love the Glee soundtracks too

I hear I am to come into possession of the Glee soundtracks at some point and I can't wait!

Right now I'm listening to the soundtrack for "The Princess and the Frog" ... reminds me of my trip with my friends and the music is awesome!

Well, that way is near and dear to my heart because that's how I first experienced all the music. But, I am enjoying listening too. I re-played "Don't Rain on my Parade" 3 times...

But, I will say, I was totally confused by Shu and Kristen Chenowyth singing "Alone" to one another until I remembered them singing it for the class. Phew!!

Sidenote: why is wallpaper in quotes??

I like the albums because they record the whole songs... not just the parts of songs played on the show.

They just seem more produced than on the show--when watching the show, I don't notice the background parts, they just blend in, but on the CDs I keep noticing the music parts and it seems weird. And Finn and Ernie don't seem as good when not watching along with listening. On the other hand, Quinn seems better!

We bought Jeff Buckleys album Grace this weekend....he really was a very talented guy.

Cause I stapled fabric to my wall and it looks like wallpaper. Did that instead of painting. That's why I quoted it cause its not really wallpaper ... its wall fabric!

For the past several days I have been rehooked on listening to Hillsongs:United. I've got 3 or so of their albums on random shuffle going right now. Love their music!!!

One of the best pop/rock albums to come out in decades. It's a shame we lost him so early. There weren't many in his field playing music with the talent, maturity and soul that he had. I would've loved to have seen how his music woul've continued to develop.
