A while back, I posted a video of outtakes from some fishing show. I watched that thing no less than 6 times in a row and was laughing so hard I was crying and no longer laughing but uttering loud gutteral moans and yelps. It was bad in such a good way!

I just watched this on my phone and I think something is lost in the pixelation of it from my phone quality. I mean, I smiled a couple times, but I wasn't laughing out loud. I will watch it at home.

BUT, the kid with the purple/maroon shirt on? He is now Tizzy Wizzy in my mind. I don't know why, but that's how I picture Tizzy Wizzy, and now that's how I hear him laugh! Hah!

Not like I can really complain--i took 2 days off this week! But, it feels good nonetheless!

I have a parent meeting that I fell asleep prepping for last night and so I have to really double-time it today. Then, I am hoping to relax this evening! Yay!

I'm finding out all sorts of interesting information about the department my friend is managing. Making a lot of puzzle pieces fall into place.

Tonight, nothing. Laundry and hopefully reading a little.

I get to work all day and then I have no idea what I'm doing tonight, probably nothing much, but who knows!

So the guy I've been talking to about my store emailed to say he's talking to a couple of banks and needs to schedule a time for his inspectors to come take a look so he can figure out what he needs to do to meet their expectations and their licensing requirements.

Why do I suddenly feel like I could throw up? There is still no excitement, just nerves until this hits a point of going through.

It will be fine, we're still several steps away from finishing packing.

At least there are steps in the right direction. Maybe giving up all hope will be the good luck charm we need. If that makes sense.

Angie, how fun. I hope you guys have a wonderful time together! I am realizing the other day, I forgot to wish you a Happy Anniversary. Sorry about that!

I had a meeting today where I had to tell parents there son is too high for our program and we have to send him back to his home district which was not addressing any of his needs before. It is actually really hard for me because he is a great kid who deserves a lot more than he is getting. I can help him in some ways, but I can't duplicate the social setting that his regular elementary school would offer. So, we had to weigh the options and it wasn't all good and all bad either way. It's just really hard for me to send a kid back into a bad situation. And his parents were so kind to me and really loved my classroom and what it was doing for their son. It's all heartbreaking to me.

I'm so sorry Melissa....I can't imagine. The girl I aide for is struggling just to have to tell one mom that her son isn't going to be ready for kindergarten next year, and that's not half as hard as what you are dealing with.

I think that the one thing we always have to remember is that God loves these kids more than we ever could....which doesn't mean they won't be in horrible places sometimes, but it does mean that He will come through for them and care for them.

Somehow, I turned off my alarm this morning! Ahhh! Miraculously, I got ready and was out the door in 18 mins! Still really late though. At least it's Friday.

My funk from a week or so ago has ebbed and flowed but not fully gone away. I am planning on having a Re-Group tomorrow where I study and pray etc. I am sick of feeling this. And in the last week, I have gotten the same disturbing message from a couple sources so I want to explore what it means. It kind of works with messages I have been receiving for years, so we shall see.

Yeah I'm feeling much better. Although I totally forgot to message you this morning. I was out of bed about 6 and off and running. Sorry I forgot!

I'm really sore from being tense and hauling stuff up and down my steps. But I'm happy things seem to be settling down a bit at home.
I'm working, then heading to a friends house to babysit her kids over night so she and her husband can go party with their friends downtown and stay at a hotel over night (the one woman is celebrating her 40th bday).

The kids are 17, 14, and 10. The 17 y/o has a gig tonight with his band so he won't be home until like 1am and they don't want the 14 and 10 y/o by themselves from 4pm till then so I'm making $100 to hang out with some pretty cool kids for a few hours and sleep in a different house!

I am pretty much an emotional wreck right now, and I don't know how to not be....

I'm sorry too, Katy....I am kind of frazzled today, but I am hoping that things will calm down, and I can just enjoy the weekend.

Today has been the most hectic trainwreck of a day.....lordy.

What an eff-ing day. I was on the floor restaining a student for 30 mins. My adrenaline is all pumping and now, two hours later, I am still shaky. Errr. Going to paint some pottery to cool down.

Katy, sorry you're having a rough time. That sucks. I am taking tomorrow to do some guided introspection/journaling becasue I have been discouraged and emotional myself lately. I don't know what else to do.

I'm having a very frustrating day

Working late tonight and several hours tomorrow because of an upgrade. It's been planned for a while. Still, I hate to do it to my wife and kids. Good news is, I get to use company money to buy Schlotsky's tonight and some more good stuff tomorrow.
