Monday!!!

I've only really had about 4 days since the beginning of june where I didn't have something out of the ordinary happen... I'm looking forward to August... ALOT.

Right now I would welcome several days away from this house.....in fact I would welcome 16 days away from this house. lol.

It's funny because for most of my life I've typically slept better away from my own bed, I'm not sure what that says about me.

The more I'm here the more it feels as if the walls are closing in around me. I'm leaving now, to do what I'm still not sure, but I have to get out of this house.

well, Prowler continues on....he is on morphine, iv fluids and antibiotics....so, now we wait. My mom gave me a loan, so hopefully it will take care of the bill! But, I'm not going to worry, we are just going to get through this. It has made us seriously understand that there is a possibility that we should look for homes for both dogs.

I love them so much, enough that I don't want to have to be forced to put them down anytime something comes up....so, we may see if we can find a family who can afford a dog, and will love them. Not sure yet.

Otherwise, it is actually not a bad day. God has been present, and things are moving along! I want to sleep some more though!

So, did you put an ad out that you would be a pet sitter, or was it all word of mouth? I think I am going to look for another job today, so I can pay my mom back!

It was all word of mouth for me. I started with one family at church and then they referred me and so on. I've actually started getting church people referring me to their co-workers and have 2 regular families that I have no association with other than dog sitting that I sit for.

Two of my regulars are my friends and two are coworkers/friends of my moms.

Working then a meeting with Ben about WP. I've been really busy after work again, I'm hoping that will stop soon

I am enjoying these 4 day weekends immensely!!

I have some work for next school year to do and then I am thinking of stopping in at the local gym to talk to them about joining. I am pretty intimidated, but it needs to happen.

Other than that, I am not doing much of anything. The yard could afford a clipping, but it is on-again, off-again raining today--ooopppsss! Won't be able to cut the grass! Darrrnnnn!

For the first time in about a week and half, I can swallow without wanted to burst into tears. There is still a slight burn to it, but for the most part, my throat is better... now to get my voice back and quit coughing up gunk.

Gosh, Katy, that's horrible that it's lasted so long.

Well, you know... I figured I reached my sick quota for about at least two years.

So, I have a bit of a crush on the guy who works in the doughnut shop up the street from work. I really don't know anything about him, it's very superficial... much like Sandra Bullocks infatuation in When You Were Sleeping... although, I hope the doughnut guy doesn't get hit by a train. Anyway, he has this dark hair that is not quite shoulder length and has a beautiful wave to it... or at least he did... but I went in this morning to get coffee and gawk, and he cut it off.. I like it how it is now... but I liked it longer too.

is this the guy from where we got donuts? Because he was cute!

Yes... and he's really nice and personable. It was funny, the girl in front of me was getting donuts for work, and she was brazenly flirting with him... and he just kind of took it in stride. Not really flirting back, just being nice.

I think we all probably feel like our lives are dull. I have a lot going on, but I never feel like any of it is very interesting!

Well, right now I am typing out a lesson plans for a Unit on Poetry and I am geekily excited about it...While I find it SO SUPER exciting, I doubt many others would!

any Jack Perlutsky? How about Lewis Carroll? Shel Silverstein? I would be excited about that! There is so much fun kids poetry. Sarah Cynthia Sylvia Stout....would not take the garbage out...............

Yup, and many others. Really couldn't do poetry with kids and not hit on them a couple times!

I haven't gotten as much done as I would have liked, but I've had such a crazy week last week and crazy weekend, I'm o.k. with how today is going.

Off to finish some laundry so I can sell my washer and dryer and pack up the laundry room.

I'm now considering taking off the 28th
It's a little slow at work still and I'm mostly caught up. Do you think taking that day off would be better or taking off the 29th?

Bethany as far as the 28th I'm not sure. We're going to arrive, unhook the trailer and go get supplies to build the wall and such and that's probably what we'll be doing most of the day. My parents are coming down on the 29th because I'm figuring that's when we'll be unloading the trailer probably.....maybe.....I'm still not sure. I probably won't even know until we get down there.

It's up to you really. lol.
