Good call! I am sure there is a blessing somewhere to be found, just hold your ground!
I think I could turn that into a song!
Anyway, I was in our classroom today too, it is almost ready. I am excited actually, I like working, it's fun.
Other than that just running around a lot!

It was really hard, but I refrained from offering my solutions. I am realizing more and more that my job brings out my controlling nature. It's hard to keep it in check.
I like going back too. And I like organizing stuff and setting up systems. It excites me a bit too much!

Re: Thursday!!
Thursday already?
How can a week seem to drag and fly by at the same time?
Working, than family night with Sharen and the kids. Then I need to start organizing stuff I need to pack for dogsitting...

Re: Thursday!!
I had an interesting morning so far. I realized after being awake for well over 2 hours that I hadn't seen a cat yet this morning and began to panic.
After an hour of searching I found both of them asleep under the bed in the guest room. I was relieved and yet so confused, they are always up and around when I get up in the morning. Now they are sleeping again, only now where I can see them.

Re: Thursday!!
Going to my first Cowboys game in the new stadium tonight. It's preseason and won't have any Cowboys starters, but oh well. I'm paying for this $1.2 billion stadium, so I might as well get to see it from the inside.

They do that to me quite a bit as well. They're weird.

The City of Arlington financed the first $300m. Tax increases, mostly.TheGreat&TerribleBob wrote:I thought JJ payed for it all himself - no?
Re: Thursday!!
Yeah, especially when those paying for it can't afford to go. Most game tickets are hundreds of dollars each. Parking is $90. For one game. Seriously. I'm only able to go tonight because I know doctor who invited me.TheGreat&TerribleBob wrote:That seems fair - NOT!
Re: Thursday!!
Bob Craft, the Pats owner, paid for their stadium out of his own pocket, with the exception of some infrastructure (road access) that the state did on our dime.
Maybe I could move out there and we could start our own business and have the taxpayers fund it. Got any ideas?

Isn't that ironic that the two states which are arguably the most liberal and the most conservative in the nation are acting like complete opposites when it comes to govt funding of sports stadiums?
Re: Thursday!!
Good point!I never thought of that.
The truth is - it's difficult to do ANYTHIG in this state - it's all politics.
Craft wanted to build on the waterfront in Boston, but the political hacks said, 'no'. He was using all of his own money for that too, but no cigar!
Then he was going to move to Hartford, CT, but eventually ended up on the same site as the old stadium in Foxboro. Now he's built a hotel and a huge multi-plex with shops and restaurants.

Re: Thursday!!
I had to check on the computer to make sure it was Thursday, I'm all out of whack.
This morning I had to go get my fingerprints taken and drug screening for the new job starting in October. I also heard from my lawyer who said closing isn't going to happen until the first of next week but in order to take advantage of my day off on Friday he's having me come in and sign the paperwork I need to be present for so that way when they close next week it will be done and I won't have to be there. So yeah!
The rest of the day is rather dull, just have to go to work tonight and then drive back to my hometown after work. I'm getting used to it so it won't be bad.

Re: Thursday!!
How exciting!
Don't forget to get the guarantee on the check in writing! (sorry, I'll stop mothering now)
I'm working, with some cranky cracky pants on. I blame the stubborn dog that just won't walk properly with me. No matter WHERE I walk now he decides he wants to walk the opposite way and just plants himself and won't budge.

'Cranky', I get - but, 'cracky'.

I'm surprised to see you say, 'he'. Sounds more like a female trait. What's a female dog called again? Oh yeah, a bitch! ****Bobsaysasherunsforcovertoavoidflyingobjectsthatarebeingthrownathishead****

Wahoo!!
Ok, so someone on facebook just told you to have a beer... and I totally thought they said have a beef... and I was confused as to why he said "a" beef... I pictured you sitting on the back porch drinking lemonade with a cow.
