Take a jacket. The wind is cold... of course, I'm saying this probably three hours after you have already left.

lol...yep. I'm at the office already. Got here later than usual, but still before everyone else. So much for blow drying my hair today though...wind obviously doesn't care that I'm trying to make myself look presentable. Didn't realize the wind was so bad the more east towards the mountain you go. I knew in the gorge its bad, but there's a huge tree outside my apartment and I fear its gonna crash into my bedroom cause of the wind! eep!

Pete wrote:ATM I'm very nervous about a possible deal.
I sent an email to another business owner that is currently looking for a new space. It's a long shot, but I wanted to touch base with him before I signed another Realtor contract. I detailed the place for him and told him the advantages to his own current business which would be a great fit for this location and would be a great thing for this business.
Anyway, he's responded and is very excited at the price I told him and the possibilities, but as I thought he's concerned with the financial end of the deal being the father of a young family. He asked me for two weeks to talk with extended family and banks to see what he could figure out and what it would take.
While I know it's an incredible long shot, the deal would leave me happy, be a great opportunity for him, and take care of my customers. I can't help but be hopeful, although I'm not jumping the gun. I've been down this road, but I figure if it doesn't work out I can still call the next Realtor and have it on the market in two weeks, so it will only cost me two weeks of time, I figure a little risk might be worth it.
But I'm nervous.
I scheduled a time with him on Saturday to poke around here and take a closer look at everything. What does that mean? I have no freaking idea. Only time will tell, but I'm not packing or anything like that. Keeping excitement and optimism at a level of about -30 at the moment, just taking it as it comes.

ATM- I'm SOOOOOOOOOOO bored!
I'm all caught up at work, I've already closed like 15 issues for a coworker that is going to be out next week (because her husband is coming home from Irag!) and am getting ready to help another coworker close some of her issues b/c she's behind (and her feeling will be hurt if I don't offer to help her too...oh the drama!)
I'm about to go ask my manager for a project

Re: At the Moment
ATM I think I could puke. My gut is in knots and I don't ever remember being this nervous before.
I got an email from the pb (potential buyer), he said that the bank has to make sure the funds they found for him are allowed to be used as a downpayment, it's a grant program the city is currently opening up to local businesses. He said if they are allowed to be used as a down payment that the bank is willing to do the loan. If the answer is yes that also means we have to have the appraisal done and paid for up front unlike last time where they rolled it into the closing costs, we decided to split the costs. I have no idea where I'll find the extra $500, but I think I can borrow the money from my parents temporarily to get this deal done.
If the answer is yes, and the appraisal comes out at or above the price we agreed on, I could be out of here in a month or two. The part of me that wants to get excited is also the part that is tied up in knots and making me want to puke. I refuse to look on the good side of things or tell more people until he gets the answer from the bank next week because the deal is just so fragile at the moment, but it's 2am and I have no one I can call to tell, so I had to post it here.
Please pray, pray and pray some more that this is going to go through.
I don't know if I'll ever get to sleep tonight.

Re: At the Moment
ATM I just booked a large order for Memorial Day Weekend.
I went through the discussion that I may not be here and I would have to pass the order on to the next owner if I'm not and they understand.
I'd just hate to turn down a good order like that for something I'm not sure of atm. Still very shaky about the deal until I hear more.

Just please!!!!!!!!!!let this go through, otherwise the next couple of months are going to be more tight than I've ever handled before.
