Monday!!!

So, I am trying to trust that God has the best in mind for me and my students and whatever happens is for that best.

And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them. - Romans 8:28

I woke up with no voice today and, in something like a Walk of Shame, ended up taking a Sick Day. I might go in later if there is no substitute assigned to my room, though. It isn't so bad that I can't work, but between the sore body and now no voice, I don't WANT to work...sound bad??

Hard time getting the family moving today, myself included.

Hard time getting out of bed. I should know better than to have clean sheet night on Sundays...the bed is just to crisp and cozy to want to get out of it!
Working then meeting a landscaper at my house to get an estimate to landscape the area to the right of my patio (where the giant sandbox is)

I'm tired... I would have stayed home today if I wasn't saving up vacation time for June.
In an attempt to avoid laundry this weekend, I cleaned out two cupboards in our kitchen. The pots and pans on friday and the plastic storage containers on Saturday. On Saturday we also we went to the Master Gardner garden show and then costco and on Sunday, I went shopping with my friend... only to find out before leaving that my car wouldn't start. So... I'm a little stressed about my car now.

well, it's Monday again! Class this morning, and then a field trip with Piri's class. We are going to the farm my class went to couple of weeks ago. It is supposed to be fairly nice today, I think...so it should be fun.

I was talking to one of the parents from my class about the real estate idea and it turns out before she had her son she was huge into real estate....so she had some good advice, that was cool. I am still not sure because there are a lot of things to consider, but I need to move in some direction soon. Going to work at the Beechwood yesterday made me realize how very much I do NOT want that to be my life.

Monday Monday. Catching up from 2 days off last week, so far emails aren't that bad but I have 8 voicemails. Hopefully they'll all be hang ups

the real honest to goodness truth is that I won one of the Pioneer Woman Contests last week and I'm getting an ipad! I had the choice between a mixer, an ipad, or photoshop. I have a mixer... and i'm not that into photography.. so I chose the ipad. However, I'm not sure if I get to just choose, or if it's a first come first serve kind of think.

I'm so excited! Also, your entry was flippin hilarious!

it was just a winner list... and i emailed... and then her prize rangler Lindy emailed back!
