MY IPAD CAME!

Yay!!! How very fun!

It is fun. I wasn't sure what I would do with it... And I'm still not sure, but I can watch netflix and read books so it works out well.

I am sure, like millions of others, you will find things to do. For hours.

I hear Plants vs Zombies is an addictive game.

Hooray! I'm so excited to play with it when I come next month!

I'm working on the borrowers user agreement now... it should be ready by the time you get here... I'm at 26 pages right now so it shouldn't be any longer than 100 pages when done... Well, I have been driving for the last 9 hours or so. I got off-track 3 times and got a speeding ticket. Not my best overland driving excursion...

BUT, in getting lost one time, GPS re-routed me RIGHT PAST Pete's work so I stopped in at the Napoleon Wendy's, freaked Pete out with giddy waving and fast talking, and got a free Frosty! It was definitely the highlight of my drive home!!!

You were the highlight of my day as well Mel!! I was so happy when I finally realized it was you!! I'm so very glad you got to stop in.....it was fate you got lost. I'm not sure you can blame fate on the ticket though.

I drove home from BG today in a lot of torrential rain, stopped just north of Cincinnati to deliver some NW Ohio special chips to a very pregnant friend and also picked up some fresh peaches and pears from a farmers market then came home.
I had high aspirations to cut the grass and clean but I decided to take a nap instead.

You guys have fresh peaches already? I'm jealous!

They're not big, but they're super juicy and peachy (like you can smell them from an arms length away)

Well, I am going to go to the store shortly and get some stuff I need for a lunch I am going to today. Also to buy Aidan lunch because he has a field trip.

I hope to get my bedroom cleaned, get Piri's room cleaned, and do laundry today. Those are the big 3....we'll see!

When's school done Melissa? Since I haven't sent the money I owe you, maybe you should come for a visit, and you could collect it!

We are out next Thurs-Fri. I am going to DC with my family and then working summer school, so I don't know about visiting soon.

Probably going to Sharen's for dinner then back to putz around my house some. I need to do some more cleaning and start digging into the 3rd bedroom to get it ready for an actual bed.

It's Monday again. I got to work an hour early because I'm riding with someone else and I told them I don't care how early I have to get here in order to avoid using gas money.

Washington Project meeting tonight, but other than that nothing exciting. As for my statement last Monday? I still haven't touched the 3rd bedroom.

Mel, I'm not sure anyone but you could be this excited about a Monday. but enjoy!

Bethany don't feel so bad, I haven't gotten much further on packing either. I have boxes all over my house. I have trails from room to room.

I haven't been spending much time around here because I got tired of the buyer calling me all the time. He's opening today so maybe he'll settle into a schedule of his own and leave me alone now........yeah right.

I'm working all day today and hopefully spending some time packing tonight.

My first day back after vacation and it's the day after driving in the car for 14 hours... also, I'm sick. Can I go back to San Francisco now?
