Good morning forum!

It's Tuesday, for my kids it feels like Monday, because they didn't have school yesterday. For me it feels like I didn't sleep enough because we had storms all night, and although none of my kids are afraid of storms, both of my dogs are. So, they needed someone to be with them, if anyone was going to sleep because they wouldn't shut up.

I really did get enough sleep, I am just lazy. I don't know how to get back to that motivated place that I get to once in a great while.

Ok, have a good day! I gotta take kids to school and get ready to go too.

We're having a vendor fair at work tomorrow so there are tons of vendors here setting up...it's annoying but whatever my desk is in a little corner away from the hustle and bustle.
Working out with the trainer again tonight then crashing hard.

I've been reading a book about thoughts and she often quotes the verse about how we are what we think... or something like that... so it's all about mind-set... it's just hard to get your mind re-set.

If we could come up with something that really works to reprogram our minds we would be rich.

Once in awhile I get on the right track, and then I lose the path, and it takes forever to find it again.....and by the time I do I have really made a mess of things!

I know that it has to do with the fact that I have very little faith, but I don't know quite where to go with that.

I don't think that is an indicator of faith at all. I think it has everything to do with being human. You are not alone in that cycle.

We're all here with you. And on top of that, we're all loved beyond what we could possibly imagine for being that human by the God of the universe.

Had an amazing but really draining meeting last night for Washington Project. Was exhausted but also buzzing with energy so I had a hard time falling asleep.
But I got up and did day two of at least 15 minutes of quiet time in the morning. (my goal is an hour but I'm building it in at least 15 minute increments a week). But this morning I actually got in 30 minutes.

Probably having a meeting with one of the newer leaders tonight one on one about her plans for leading with WP in 2011. She's about to have a baby (#2) but I think once that is settled back down she'll probably become heir apparent for if/when I step back from leading perhaps in 2012.

I have coffee. I'm happy.

I was a worker on FIRE this morning...until a little bit ago when all my motivation swan dived (dove?) off the cliff.

When I went to the fancy barber shop to get my haircut before the wedding they told me that my hair was too clean, that I wash it way too often. That I was actually damaging my hair. Crazy! they said I should use shampoo only once or maybe twice a week if I've really gotten it dirty somehow. And then just condition it every other day or so. At the very least it's saving me money on shampoo!

yeah, my hair is too oily to do that.

Here's a story for you.
Girl buys car. Car needs tires but dealership had to order them...should be in the next day.
Girl takes car back the next day. Tires aren't in, they say come back Tuesday, anytime until 8.
Girl takes car back tuesday at 5:30. Girl is told she is too late, technicians leave at five.
Girl calls dealership on Wednesday to confirm tires are in (just in case) and make appointment.
Girl takes car in on thursday. Told that the tires are in, but they ordered the wrong ones. They will be there the next day at 11. Girl is house sitting over the weekend and come back till monday.
Girl comes back Monday, leaves car and takes train to work. Girl gets call at 4 that the tires that were ordered to replace the wrong ones, are wrong. Tires will be there Tuesday and they have a loaner car for me, but girl has to sign a rental agreement. Girl says ok.
Girl waits all day Tuesday, finally get the call that the tires in, but they don't have enough time to put them on, so they will have to do it the next day. She is stuck with the Jetta one more day. Girl says ok... and then goes to find some birthday cake.

Dave, I do the opposite. I shampoo it everyday and conditioner it every other to every 3rd or 4th day depending. My hair gets to oily with just conditioner but I also can't not wash it or it is AWFUL.
