Life is about bumps and obstacles and getting past them. If you don't hit bumps, you're more than likely dead.

I won't bore you with my laundry list of my life's disappointments and heartbreaks, but I wish that a septic problem and a few broken pipes under the sink were my biggest challenges.

I'm not trying to bust your ass or make fun - just trying to make you see how lucky you really are and that the little things we must deal with in our lives are just that - little things. Don't let them become giants in your eyes. And don't see yourself (in your mind's eye) as smaller than you are.

Yeah, so I had to have some repair work done to the cooler, per our agreement and just got the bill. What was supposed to be a simple fix of adding free-on turned into over $500 worth of repairs.

Then to top it off the repair man said he wasn't leaving without payment. I told him I was not given an estimate of the repairs, was not told when the work was being done, and was not aware of the problems, so if he thought I had $500 laying around he should just take back all the work he's done because he's not getting it from me right now.

He seemed to think that the sale had already gone through and I was sitting on this pile of money. I told him to leave me the bill and I would pay it when I found the money and that's that.

I hate this place more and more everyday.

Ug, I'm so over today/tonight. Went to work after all that crap and worked until 2:30am. We're having an inspection in the morning from corporate so there is always added cleaning to get done, top that off with one of my closers leaving early because she was sick.

I'm so over everything right now. Can't wait until Saturday, I have a day off. lol.

Tomorrow is another day.

Oh bobbo. The place isn't a stye per say, but the last time we had an inspection you would have thought it was. The funny thing is, most of the stuff they want us to fix/replace we don't have the power too. We always lose points because of the faded carpet, broken tiles in the back room, and some of our storage racks have some rust on them. These are all things that corporate has to o.k. in order to get them replaced and they tell us they don't want to replace them yet.

Funny thing is, the inspection didn't happen today, he decided to surprise everyone and go to a different store, so we have another day to prepare for it. It makes for some very long stressful days.

Working then babysitting Matthew for a few hours. Thankfully I can do it at my house, I have laundry to do and packing to get started on for my trip.

My car is packed up again and I am heading down to set up for summer school. It's a beautiful day, which is uplifting.
