I love Dwight. If we worked together we would be best friends and worst enemies. Beets, bears, battlestar gallactica.

Re: Wednesday!
Today is THE day!
I'm impatiently working then sprinting outta here at 5 on the dot.
Making bowtie lasagna for Pete and his band of merry men (not that there's anything wrong with that) and then just hanging out and doing laundry and whatever Pete needs help with.

Re: Wednesday!
It's frickin hot here. I just moved one of four loads of stuff at my house to my new room. I am sweatin and my hair exploded from the humidity.
I have a counseling appt tonight and I am trying to figure out how to make a break. It has been a long time, I love my counselor, I have worked through a lot of issues, and now it is more like a mentorship. A really expensive mentorship. So, with signing up for personal training (another kind of expensive mentorship!) I have to cut the expense of it. I feel like I am telling someone I can't be their friend.
Then, after that is church. Looking forward to it--hoping for some real good worship!

Re: Wednesday!
You know, your counselor should understand if she/he is a good counselor.
There are very few people that need to remain in it forever and you can always leave it open as maintenance if you think you might need to go back like once a year or something just to check in.
How often are you meeting with your trainer?

Re: Wednesday!
I know she will understand--it's me I am worried about! I thoroughly enjoy our time together but see that the need isn't as great as the expense at this point in time.
I will be going 3 times a month to the trainer. Haven't been back yet, though. Just getting to the place where I can walk normally!!

Yeah, that's the crazy part. The one time I couldn't walk right for a week! (It was a hoot explaining to people...no really, it's just from a trainer!)
Re: Wednesday!
I have a headache today, which always leads me to believe I have cancer...that and the doctors office hasn't called me with results from a test a week and a half ago! Good grief, don't leave a hypochondriac hanging, please!

Re: Wednesday!
alright, getting ready for a walk to the library. Then home to maintain what has been done, and perhaps to do even more....who knows?
I would like to start painting, but I just don't know....
And now that the week is almost done, what I have budgeted for gas and groceries and anything else a family of 8 needs, seems like very little money...but we can do it....I know we can. I am going to make this money game work. It is terrible when you start to realize how much you depend on money, and for me, to realize how very frivolous we are with it, but how addicted I am to all the frivolities!

Re: Wednesday!
Just got back from an interview with and office supply chain. It was a little humbling for someone with lots of experience, just none in retail sales.
The job is not what they said it would be, part time for less money than I was making back in Nap. town, no benefits, but hey, it could be a job right?
I won't know for sure for a couple of days possibly, but he said he had a gut feeling about me and had me fill out the background check information just in case his supervisor approved my rate of pay which is higher than they normally start people out at.
Overall, I'm unsure and will be filling out more apps, but at least I know I can handle myself in an interview.
Now I'm off to fill out a few more apps, clean out the garbage from the garage and run an errand or two.

Yuh, Katy. Some people huh? Everyone knows that.
I second your, "sheesh".
Sheesh!
Re: Wednesday!
I would disagree with part of that statement Katy. You can never have too many GOOD pens! I threw away pounds of pens when I moved because they weren't good pens, of course I still have three coffee mugs full.
I got all the cardboard moving boxes torn down and bundled up to be put at the curb tonight. It's weird, as I was doing that it felt as if I was throwing away my security blanket. Which I guess I really was. Some of those boxes have been with me through the last three moves. It's a strange feeling throwing them away.
Seriously? They are just boxes, I have issues.
I also had a sandwich for lunch, cut down a door, and now I need to get a few things done downstairs, then return an application or two, and then back to do the trimming and putting all the garbage on the curb, put boxes in the attic, and then I'm grilling burgers tonight.
Oh sometime I need to go and get some groceries and a few things at Home Depot.
Whoever said unemployment was unproductive and boring was never unemployed with me.

Re: Wednesday!
Bethany had an old door and the garbage guys won't take it unless it's cut down to smaller pieces, so I did that.
Or maybe I should have said it's similar to cutting down a tree, but you have to go to the door forest.
There's two explanations, you can choose which ever suits you.

Re: Wednesday!
See why I made you throw them away?
There are literally thousands of dumpsters for cardboard only all over this city that if you need boxes you can totally fill your car a hundred times over with them.
So proud of you for throwing them away! (and don't get them back off the curb!)
Have fun being alone in the house the next few days, remember if you're on the sofas you have to have pants on!

I have three shoe boxes full from about two years ago that I'm having difficulty throwing out.
