Yeah, we couldn't get the part in for my car so I'm heading out at lunch tomorrow. I'm ready. Not that I wouldn't love to visit with some friends and such but I have no vehicle and have been busy most of the time so I haven't done much visiting. I'm ready to go home.

Angie, one of the things I tried posting but my phone wouldn't let me, was how cool it is about the Derby! I would love to do that!

Busy day at work, lots to do. Dinner with friends after then to bed I think. I'm tired!

I'm currently getting stuff ready to load my car, then getting ready for work, then work until 10, then a 3 hour drive to my parents.

I don't want to go back up there as I was JUST there last week, but my car is getting fixed and we'll be closing on the business so it will be a productive trip.

And you don't have to go back for a long time if you don't want to after this week!

yeah, I've got about a month before I have to go back for my grandmother's surprise party.

The first summer I lived here I had to go home almost every weekend b/c of bridal shower/maid of honor stuff

yeah, looks like it's going to be that way for me now too. Closing has been delayed, but I can't cancel my trip because the expensive part for my car was ordered and is now at the shop awaiting me tomorrow. So I get to drive back to Nap. tonight, then back to Cinci tomorrow night and then do the trip all over again next week possibly.

I don't think anyone that is in charge of this deal knows what the hell is going on, including the buyer himself. Please dear God, grant me serenity until I can finally put this behind me.

yeah don't ask me. The whole thing is turning into one frustrating joke. Hopefully next week I can get this all done and over with.

Well, I am heading down to my classroom. Hoping to get a lot accomplished there between now and Sept 7. We shall see, though.

I want to go decorate bulletin boards, I don't know why, but I have been thinking about it all morning, but I have to ask the girl that is teaching if she likes doing bulletin boards....because she may not want me to do all that stuff. And that's ok too....but I am kind of excited about getting back into the routine.

I overslept but was able to shower and arrive at work within 35 minutes of getting out of bed. Considering my commute is normally 25-40 minutes I thought that was pretty good.
Working, then taking dinner to a family at church and then spending the rest of the night reading Mockingjay!

I just did a test drive to my interview location tomorrow morning and found it's really easy to find, now if I can just calm my nerves enough to get through the interview.

I have to go to the bank yet, I forgot on my way home.

The rest of the day is doing some light cleaning and getting ready for work at 3pm. Then it's straight home to get to bed to be up and ready for my interview at 9:30am tomorrow.

So apparently I'm not drving to Nap. this week, apprently closing has not been scheduled because the letter from the liquor departmtent is not enough information, we apparently have to wait until the new license is delivered in the mail.

I think I'm the only one that understands what's happening and that it's perfectly legal to close right now because the license is legally is. They put a timeline on sending back my license to issue his because the license is no longer legally mine but no one else sees it that way.

I guess that's what happens when you hire a 75 year old lawyer. I guess I should have spent the money on someone younger with a better understanding of the liquor department.

So how long will that take?

It could be a week, it could be two. There is only a 14 day window that the license can be off the wall according to state law, so I'm hoping that's true.

Working. Pete's meeting some guys at the house to get quotes of adding more insulation to my attic. The one guy called me and said, "I'm running behind, can you tell...is it your boyfriend of fiance? that I'll be there in like 15 minutes."

I used enough construction lingo so he knew I wasn't stupid, but not so much to come off cocky.
