Friday!!!!

While it may be a stomach virus, do you think it might be worth it to call the doctor's office and see if it could be a reaction to the meds? Or maybe give it another day. I just worry sometimes.

I'm off to a work meeting then I'm off until 6 tonight. Going to try and clean my house a bit and maybe get through my walk-in closet, it's a mess.

Bethany, why are you on antibiotics in the first place?

I am catching up on stuff I skipped out on yesterday and then tonight I am going on a 24 hour retreat! Should be fun!

Kinda bummed that break is almost done and I have been sick this whole time.

I'm hoping for good weather (raining today) so I can do some more work on my veggie garden prepped. I got a few things done last weekend, but LOTS more to do.

I'm on antibiotics for my root canal from last week. There was an infection down by my jaw.
I was on a different antibiotic but it gave me some bad tummy too, this one is just waaaaaay worse. So I'm going to lay low (toast and flat soda) today and then tomorrow go back to the first one and barrel through the first antibiotic.

This gut flush lady I am reading HATES antibiotics. They kill off everything your gut needs to work properly.

Yup - they do. But it's better than dying from pneumonia!

There are probiotics you can take that replenish the good bacteria in your intestines.

I finally got through my closet today and got three bags of clothes out of it, plus I found some shirts that still had tags on them! I can actually see everything now and it's amazing.

This house is really starting to feel like I'm preparing to move. It's kind of scary.

I am pretty sure I will have to be at work all day today, it will be a miracle if I get to leave at noon.

If I do get a half day, my house is in desperate need, I have really been letting it slide this week. The fridge has something in it that must be thrown out. So, no matter what, when I get home I am going to do some cleaning.

We don't really have any plans for this weekend other than baseball practices and church. I think I am going to try to exercise as much as possible and organize as much as possible! And eat as little as possible, but for me, that is still a lot of food!

I know I've already gotten to see it last week, but if I had the money I'd be buying a ticket to see it again. I know you're going to love it!!!

I feel discouraged this week. Feels like it's been really hectic and I have been sick on top of it. And no end in sight on the sickness. I feel like I've had no time, and yet I know I just vegged out two nights. So, I am just in a bad mood today. Ready for the weekend. Hoping it's better.

Umm, now that Friday has been here, I wish it would go away. MAJOR drama--major UNNECESSARY drama--exploded in my classroom today. And from STAFF!! Crying, hurt feelings, misunderstandings, everything.

I am trying to be respectful in my response to it, and put myself in the antagonist's skin (or have compassion, as the sermon I was listening to ON THE WAY TO WORK was explaining), but it is really hard. How do you deal successfully with a person who isn't happy, who takes everything as a personal attack, and who cannot effectively communicate their wants and needs? It's kind of a nightmare and I know God is here with me in it, just trying to identify him!!!

well, the twins are heading to DC. I am getting ready for a farm field trip, which is a 40 minute drive. And then I have got to get my driver's license pic. My license expired in February....I hate getting pictures.

Then home to clean up and then baseball tonight.

Working today. We're celebrating Derby Day at work so we're all wearing funny derby hats and have a FREE ( bobbo) lunch.
After work I'm going costume shopping at a costume rental place near here with Alaina. She's having a 50s BBQ in a few weeks and I'm in the market for a poodle skirt and saddle shoes

I am currently getting a mani/pedi! I took the day off for bridesmaid duties which have included pain (waxing and pruning back the naturescape) and now pampering.

Glad this day is finally here because it's been looming for a long time. I hate to have a bad attitude about this wedding because I am really happy for my friend, I am just sick of all the "stuff." Sadly, too, I think that's all it's about--I don't know how much they've prepared for Marriage...

But, that's none of my business either, so we carry on!
