I broke ANOTHER tooth this morning while eating breakfast. Ugh. I hope this doesn't mean ANOTHER effing root canal

Snowpocalyps 2.0 is here. It's been snowing since 1 and picking up speed. We should be getting 9" plus but noon tomorrow. Should be a fun drive home!

SNOW DAY!!!

really? Wow.....we just got freezing rain. So, off to school for me! Do you guys have to make up your snow days? I think that is why we don't take them, no one wants to make them up when the weather is nice! And we don't schedule them in.

I created a schedule for the kids and I to follow during the week....of course my crappy attempts at organization have never worked before, but I am trying again....so far, it is working out.

I have also lost some weight, so I am excited about that....hopefully I will continue on this streak since I have a goal....oh, the other goal, aside from the spa is that Nate and I are going to go out on a totally formal date, we are going to get super dressed up, like its the prom or something, just for a lark.

Our contracts figure in 6 snow days. Anything more than that, we have to make them up. So far, we've only had 2.

Yay on the weight loss! I haven't lost any and am really needing to commit. Errrr.

One thing that is hard about the weight loss, is that the girl I work with also needs to lose weight, but she is just sure she can't and doesn't really want to, so she also really doesn't want me to.

I don't say much at school, but I have been avoiding having snacks with the kids and stuff.

Anyway, it is one of those things that in the past would have kept me from losing weight, but I have really decided I need to do this for myself. I want to live at least one year of my life knowing what it is like to be in the average size clothing for a girl my height.

That's a good goal to have to motivate yourself.

I know when I stopped eating fast food, the thing that motivated me was being able to say, "I haven't eaten fast food in ____ years!" and that has really helped me stay on task, which seems so trivial and weird, but it worked.

I just wish I could find what will motivate me to lose weight and stick with it. I am pretty emotionally messed up over the whole thing and I can't get to the core of whatever it is that is going on...

I don't think I have truly gotten to the core issue either, I think that is why it is a roller coaster for me....I am not good at finding roots.

But, I'm going to keep pressing on!

Monday.
I'm tired.
I'm going to shop for toilets after work. One to replace the cracked one in the upstairs hall bath and one to replace the ridiculously tiny kiddie toilet in the basement bath. There's apparently a toilet outlet in Norwood and my friend and her husband are taking me there after work. They have American Standard toilets for $89.

I find that I've completed the transformation to mature homeowner because I'm really excited about that.

I felt like doing something artsy today. So, I started a stained glass drawing. It is inspired by a window from the church where we had my grandpa's funeral. It's been really fun. I will try to upload a picture...
