Well, I still hold that the title has poor grammatical structure whether you think so or not...

Paper Heart--it was very cute in an awkward way. It kind of dragged through certain parts. I wonder if Charline Yi and Michael Cere split their personalities a bit in creating a fake movie about falling in love but not really being sure about it while playing fake characters based on themselves and named after themselves. I would have been so frickin confused!!
Amazing Grace--this is a repeat for me, but one I absolutely love. Wilburforce amazes me.

I found this, along with several others, for a dollar at a video store which was closing down. I look forward to seeing it. One of the other dollar ones was Sunshine Cleaning, which I watched the first half of last night.

You will love it, MT. It's one I find myself longing to see. There are a couple really amazing parts.

Re: What movie have you seen lately?
Cadillac Records: enjoyed
The hangover: ok - overated, funy but not completely laugh till it hurts.
the invention of lying - quirky but not laugh out loud
Babylon AD- good action movie , the ending stunk
If lucy fell- . I didn't watch the whole thing but got the gist of it. it was an Heather movie.
Leap Year - romantic comedy H's choice - okay
The Soloist: Great
The rocker: Funny almost laugh out loud
Coffee and Cigarettes: 3rd time watching saw it yesterday again. still laugh out loud funy "your Bill Murray"
I can't remember the last new movie i saw that i thought. wow this is the greatest movie i've seen in a while. There is a documentary called Young@Heart about a senoir choir. It was very moving, funny, inspirational, and sad. That is at the top of my most recent list. I'l also have to add since decembers move we have every movie channel there is, dvr and direct tv, and pay per view. That said we've been watching a hecka lot of movies lately. Its getting a bit rediculous
H says i'm to critical about my movies. I am. But thee is a lot of bull out there these days.
peace

Sunshine Cleaning. I rather liked it. Not for everyone, but it was a good story, and the two lead actresses were perfect.

Yeah, I guess Bob's been gone too long when MT starts filling in for his comments!
I think Amy Adams is on her way to becoming a power player in Hollywood. She delivers spot-on.

I agree. She certainly has some undefinable something, some way of coming across.

And she has played a pretty wide range thus far. So, that's really promising.

The Manchurian Candidate (2004). Definitely not as good as the original, but pretty well done. I specifically think the three main actors (Scheiber, Denzel, and Meryl) were as good as they have ever been.
Re: What movie have you seen lately?
we watched Pnadorum, which is a sci fi horror movie and starts with an eye shot, lest you should be tempted to rent it Melissa!
It was good...Josh, I think you would like it. It was a little too gory for me, kind of Sam Raimi gory, but...other than that, well done.

Re: What movie have you seen lately?
I watched Taxi, the one with Jimmy Fallon in it. It was kinda lame, well, kinda really lame, but I still loved Jimmy in it, so I didn't mind watching it.
I started watching a mini-series on Netflix called Tin Man with Zooey Dechanel and a couple other people. I think it was on FX or some channel like that. It is a bit over-acted, but it is cool to see The Wizard of Oz in a different light. I have been on a kick of enjoying these kind of re-makes, I guess. It's like Smallville for the Wizard of Oz.

BTW Fallon has a small part in Band of Brothers, the stellar 10-hour HBO movie about one group of men in WWII.
Re: What movie have you seen lately?
He's talked about it on the show before--how he had 2 seconds of film time but he kept messing up so it took a ton of takes! Ahhh, Jimmy!
I just watched Hannah Montana: The Movie. I needed something mindless, and indeed, it was!
