Prayer Request

If you guys would pray that I find a good job opportunity, that would be great. We are really in a bind, and our septic system is failing and that could mean a lot of different things....the worst would be that we don't have a place to live. I really need to figure something out...so please just pray that God would do something for us.

I will pray for you, that you truly know that God does care, and that He really can be trusted with all of your anxieties, and that you can just let them go!

I know it is hard, I never believe it for myself....but my prayer is that you can believe it for you.

Oh, sorry. Basically, I was waiting to hear back about an apartment that I was really wanting, and I was panicking a bit, and then I never heard back... so I'm going to take it as a no and move on.

I didn't see it either. Hope the whole situation goes well--it is definitely an anxiety-producing process!

My brother is going through a really rough time right now. I'm not sure exactly whats going on, but if you could pray for him if you think of it?

Well it didn't go well...but I prayed that I would be cautious and not rush into anything...and I decided to wait.

Good for you, Katy! It is hard to not have a reliable car....but financing a car is a huge area where most of us ending up paying much more than we should. I am truly hoping not to have to ever finance another car.....

Having issues with co-workers. Again. It amazes me how these things can take over my mind. All weekend, I haven't been able to focus on anything else. Interestingly, all scripture I have come across has been about Jacob fearing Esau and/or Joseph and his plight at the hands of his brothers. That's how I feel, and God is showing me He is here with me and has a plan for me.

It isn't easy though. I am trying, but it is hard. I just want to run. And I just looked up at the sunrise and saw the shape of Africa in the orange and purple clouds. How I wish I could run!

This morning, I was moved by a podcast about envy and Gods kindness and I looked up and 4 swans were flying by. I think I have told my swan story before...they're a special thing in my life...

My sister-in-law Kelli went to the emergency room yesterday because the right side of her face went numb and starting twitching uncontrollably with a massive headache. They ruled out a stroke and bells palsi, but she has to see a neurologist to check for MS. She also has sever other health issues going on that she is having tests run for today. She's anxious and tired, but unfortunately won't slow down. Could you pray for her if you get the chance?
